This weekend we drove south to the Northwest Trek. It is a HUGE area that is all wilderness and has a lot of northwest animals (from beavers to grizzley bears). You take a tram that goes throughout the park to see Elk, Bison, etc. Unfortunately I grew up in the prairies and saw more of these animals on a evening drive than I did at the park. The photo above is Jake with a racoon in the background (dark shape). He is obsessed with Racoons since we use to have them in our back yard quite frequently.

Sounds like a fun day and sort of like a drive through the bison Reserve up at Riding Mountain National Park. You either see a large herd or nothing.

We have 2 foxes on our yard now that Daisy is gone. They sure can yap.
