Ok. so not "just another day".... Mother's Day was a day full of fun here at our home. Fresh baked chocolate croissants and a mocha for breakfast. Gorgeous day of sunshine. Relaxing in the hammock with a good book. A walk around Greenlake. Ice cream and Dicks cheeseburgers for dinner... does it get any better?!?!?
I also walked away with some fine mother's day gifts. A while back the kids got me a new IPOD. Then earlier this week my husband got me a new dishwasher (hey- I'll consider it a mother's day gift! This was a long awaited for appliance!), and then Jake made me a BEAUTIFUL birdhouse at school. The bird house was my prized gift. It brought tears to my eyes as I opened it- and then saw the HUGE smile on Jake's face. He was so proud!
Some of my sweet children this afternoon:
(Jake)
(Olivia)
And the youngest, best behaved one of them all:
(here's to still seeing my toes... if I stand at the right angle! This is not my stomach. I don't have a striped tummy. It's a tank top- FYI)
My resting place for the afternoon:
(note the freshly pedicured toes! Got that done with a girlfriend yesterday as our Mothers Day gifts to ourselves!)

I hope the baby is not a toad since it looks like a toad stool with cartoon feet.--ha, ha
The other two are so precious! I can hardly wait to come and see them.
Nice bright colors. We had a gorgeous morning and then a cool cloudy after noon while eating lunch in a park. There were fun things for the kids to play on but filling socks with rocks and letting then go down the slide was the most entertaining for them.
Oh I want to come lay in that hammock with you...or maybe a really cute little girl with incredible sense of style and darling polk-a-dot dress...??? Do you think she'd be interested?
